Okay, so this is basically a laundry list of what I plan on doing over the summer (which is quite a bit). I'll be out of college in just two days (I can't wait!) so that's when I'll start.

1.) Buy a Wacom Tablet, most likely a Graphire 4.

2.) Start and Finish my work for the art pack over at the Luminarium. For anyone interested, here is the group's deviantART page: and their website page is: [link] Anyone interested in making an image related to the theme "moons" is welcome to join.

3.) I am going to work on my graphite (pencil) art a lot over the summer as well as how to compose an image. For the graphite, I'm going to focus on comic book and manga characters, so anyone interested in that keep an eye out. The comic book characters includes super heros, btw.

4.) I'm going to work on my 3D modeling programs, so I will hopefull be creating some pretty awesome renders by the end of the summer (not the "I've been doing this since I was 2!" kind though).

5.) Expect to see a lot more digital space art from me. I will be working on developing those skills, particularly in planetary collision effects.

6.) I also plan on doing some News where I will search deviantART for some of the best artists in a field as well as talented or fairly talented artists who have yet to become famous. I also have other ideas in mind for this...

7.) I will probably be doing some more photographing over the summer so my stock collection will increase. However, because stock does not mix very well with other art in a gallery, I will moving it over to my new stock account: There is nothing there right now, but I will be moving all my stock over there soon.

8.) So, in my many years of working with photoshop and just art in general, I have found most tutorials lacking. There are many times I am trying to learn something new and cannot find any good tutorials. Since tutorials are something I am good at, I will be releasing tutorials on techniques I am skilled at.

9.) I plan on doing a couple of speed paintings over the summer too, mostly for practice in painting techniques. Some artists live purely by them and I don't really like that. One thing I have found about them: though they usually look like crap at full view, if you shrink them to about 200 x 200 they usually look amazing, so great way to doing good looking small graphics.

10.) I will also be tweaking my programming skills along with flash animation. Therefore you should look foward to seeing a couple of flash animations (I'm not sure if I can post those on deviantART) but mostly a free 2D video game or two.

11.) Finally, I may be picking up a subscription during the summer; it all depends on whether I feel my art is good enough to deserve one. Basically, I will if my pageview and watchers get high enough.
